Trump Assassination Attempt: Pastors React with Prayers and Scripture on Social Media, X

Evangelist Tony Suarez posted on Elon Musk’s X what quickly appeared to be the rally-cry photo of the moment of President Donald Trump being helped up by his security, bloodied face, fist in the air, and the U.S. flag waving above.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The photo was taken shortly after Trump was injured in an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, CBN News reported. His presidential campaign team said he is “fine” after being quickly shielded by brave Secret Service agents, according to the same report.

Suarez’ only accompanying words with the photo being scripture found in Psalm 91:1-2 (KJV):

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust.”

Trusting in God’s Providence: A Pastor’s Reflections on the Attempted Assassination of President Trump

By MATHEW MAHER

The recent assassination attempt on President Trump at a Pennsylvania rally has left many in shock. An innocent bystander was critically wounded, another lost their life, and the alleged shooter was also killed. As we grapple with this troubling event (and the volatile atmosphere leading up to it), it’s normal to seek answers in the realm of the natural—but understand what is happening lies in the supernatural. Thus, those without a clear understanding of God and His living word as spoken in the Bible will be at a loss in understanding what is actually at play here. You see, it’s not in seeking answers or searching for evidence, it is focusing on the unwavering truth of God’s providence.
